Saoirse Becomes A Therapy Dog
In October 2014, Saoirse passed all her screening tests and became a therapy dog with Fidos For Freedom!
I volunteered for several years with my previous Dalmatian/American Bulldog mix, and it was nice to be able to return to the organization.
The organization had a leadership void in the therapy dog department, so not only did I rejoin as a therapy team, but became the therapy dog testing and new therapy team coordinator. Saoirse gets to spend some extra time running around at the facility when I am there doing paperwork...which is how we got introduced to agility!
